You can find my blog (Fred) in the center of this page. The area below is a place for our member blogs that have something to do with business and/or change management. Submit your blog to fred@leadingboldchange.com for a quick evaluation of appropriateness for our audience. Sorry, I (Fred) have the last say here. No appeals.

Here's Bill's travel blog.

Holger Nauheimer's Blog on Change Management. Interesting commentary and insights. Thus far not a member here, but check it out for differential reference.

LICENSED TRAINERS! - READ THIS FIRST!!

LICENSED TRAINERS! - READ THIS FIRST!!

If you are a LICENSED TRAINER/FACILITATOR, (attended a TTT workshop), PLEASE REGISTER WITH THIS SITE (SIGN UP). Once you've registered and received a confirmation message, go immediately to the GROUP to the left titled LBC Licensed Trainer Forum.

You'll have to REQUEST AN INVITATION, and then get an acceptance. Fred will get to this as soon as possible but it may take up to 24 hours after registering.

The Community Forums

Hi everyone, this is Fred. You may know me as the curious penguin from the book, Our Iceberg is Melting by John Kotter and Holger Rathgeber.

I'll be your guide here on these forums. This page (the opening page) is the LBC community forum; this is open to the public. Feel free to provide anyone with the link to get here. If you are a guest here, please feel free to peruse this page and the information on it.

There are Two Groups. One is for workshop Participants and the other is for Licensed Trainers. Please select your Group from the options on the left under the heading Groups.

Basically, if you've attended a workshop or speech, you'll be granted access to the LBC Workshop Participant Forum. If you have attended a Train the Trainer session and are now licensed, you'll be granted permission to the LBC Licensed Trainer Forum and the entire site. Click on the links to request access.

There are many other things to see while you are here! On top of the page is your MAIN NAVIGATION - (this is a little hard to see - but there are many links along the top). To the left, below the Groups links, you'll find a list of members and our storehouse of photos and videos. You can watch these, and / or contribute your own. To the right you'll find an events listing. Click on those for more details.

Below, we've included links to a couple of videos that are useful for explaining John Kotter's work in change management and the LBC Training itself. And finally I've created Fred's Blog. Here you can follow me around the world as I use the story of my penguin colony to help corporations, communities, NGOs, and nations how to be successful at managing change. ENJOY!

Fred, (that's me,) should always be fairly close by if you need help.

Dr. Kotter's 8 Change Steps

1. Develop a sense of Urgency
2. Pull Together a Guiding Team
3. Develop a Change Vision and Strategy
4. Communicate for Understanding and Buy-In
5. Empower Others to Act
6. Create Short-term Wins
7. Don't Let Up
8. Anchor the Change in the Culture

To find out how you can use these steps to help your organization through any transformation, join the forum, and contact ISB Worldwide. They are the only company licensed by Dr. Kotter to provide Leading Bold Change workshops. The workshops provide a solid foundation from which to work along with specific skills and tools to ensure success.
